What a pleasure to see so many people joined up, both here and on Facebook.
Now that I've muscled my way through the comments and added the post below this one with a looooong list of members, I'm thinking that this really is a community, more than a blog.
What we need are Slow Bicycle Rides all around the world. And we need you all to take photos or videos of them. Let's get this rolling, shall we?
Here's a video from a recent slow bicycle ride here in Copenhagen. A celebration of the bicycle for being the most efficient machine ever created.

woo hoo, I'm a member! Hurrah.
Now who's in Southern Scotland and wants to go for a slow bike ride? Because I don't think I can cycle and film at the same time...
I'm in Scotland but apparently I've not been included in the membership list despite having replied (69th or so) to the call for members!
If this isn't resolved, I'll be forming a secessionist faction - we'll be soooo slow we won't even pedal, just push! And anyone caught standing up on their pedals had better be doing so in order to peer over a wall...or they'll be out!

The wee frees of the slow bicycling world!
I've already been forced to break your last commandment, unfortunately
Oh..that'd be far from my last commandment, trust me! :c)
What a hoot! Count me in. Slowly. Slow biking has to be the best kept secret on the planet. Share the secret!
Hi there! I think this is a brilliant idea.
I'd like to join. I'll be adding you to my blogroll.
Here's one:
The Cupcake Ride, Saturday mornings in Washington, DC. It's lead by an illustrious pastry chef, who often provides goodies. Here's a link of sorts:
THE CUPCAKE RIDE
OK, well I didn't manage to make a video or take any pictures, but I've painted my slow(ish) ride in words instead on my blog.
Not slow, slow, slow, but slow enough in parts perhaps - London Freewheel last weekend:

PS - sorry, I have to stand on my pedals when going over cobbles and speed-bumps: it's a man thing, you know
