Lovely - but if this is going to become a serious event to rival the Grand Tours you really do need to formalise the rules on touching the ground. Also there was some moving backwards from the 'victor' at the end.

Also, there doesn't seem to be an anti-doping regime in place....

Serious:
A foot on the ground should cause forfeiture - or, if you want to keep it flexible, should cause the offender to pedal two full cranks within a 5 second interval.

I look forward to future slow bike races - perhaps with a larger field?

Please invite more people and ensure better riding conditions:) - and touching the ground should be a case of disqualification! It was fun watching it.

thanks, all.

the moving backwards at the end, in retrospect, was me just being fair... but moving backwards isn't always fair in a slow bicycle race.

i would have won on foot touches anyway... :-)

I am laughing so hard I am crying! And my stomach muscles hurt. Mikael, I hope you don't mind if we copy. I am thinking that a Slow Bicycle Race after our Cycle Chic Ride and subsequent meetup at a cantina would be just what the bicycle ordered.
